FAREWELL 2006

The year 2006 has just about come to an end. How time flies!
Every year, I think that I cannot possibly outdo what I have accomplished the previous year (if anything ;-), but when I look back at the year's accomplishments I am yet again in awe by what one can achieve if you set your mind to it.
Well, this year has certainly been that. It is already evident that this has been a good year for us (friends) as we look back at all the numerous gatherings and events. There have been many surprises, some interesting twists and turns in our life stories, sadness’ and farewells, lots of laughter, inspiration and motivation. I wouldn’t go as far as to describe this past year as a page-turner, but it certainly has kept me engaged and very actively involved in the exciting lives of those who matter most – my family, my friends. You.
I am very grateful for this prosperous year gone by and am convinced that it would not have been as successful if it was not for your involvement, no matter how big or how small. Thank you for that!
Again looking back to what I wrote last year this time, I remember this comment: “Every moment matters!" This year however, I’d like to end 2006 with a brilliant quote I first heard from Emirates Airlines: “When was the last time you did something for the first time?”
So let me end off my 2006 with exactly that – doing something for the first time. There is no reason why this year can't have a perfectly fabulous ending, so Big Apple – Here I come!
Merry X-mas and happy 007 as we enter the Bond year!
With Love,
Bianca
